The universal EUComply scanner runs on any website from this site — no install needed. The WordPress plugin is an optional local integration for WordPress owners; it runs the same nine URL checks as the universal scanner plus two WordPress-specific ones — backup status and plugin/core health — for eleven in all.

Upgrade to Pro

Pro is a license key you paste into the plugin's settings screen. It gets editable HTML starters for a data processing agreement, NIS2/DORA vendor clauses and an accessibility statement, plus an HTML report generated from your latest scan and the same report as a PDF. Your site's scan history is part of it — it stays in your own WordPress, and the report can be shared with a client as a read-only link that expires, or attached as an HTML or PDF file. Hosted re-scans from our servers and the live badge are not part of it. Not on WordPress? The template store has the same documents as standalone files.

Installation

1. Download the ZIP above.
2. In wp-admin go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the ZIP, click Install Now, then Activate.
4. Open EUComply in the WordPress admin menu and run your first scan.

WordPress 5.8+ · PHP 7.4+ · No external services required for core checks.

License & privacy

The plugin is open source under GPL v2. Scan data and generated reports stay on your server. Pro license validation sends your license key, site hostname, and product identifier to mahope.tools. See our privacy policy.
