1. Service description

EUComply provides an automated compliance scanning service for websites. The service checks publicly available HTML content and HTTP headers for technical indicators related to EU regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, DORA, EAA).

The service is provided by Mahope, Denmark.

2. No legal advice

The scanning results, blog content, guides, and templates provided through EUComply are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice.

Compliance with EU regulations depends on your specific circumstances, jurisdiction, and the nature of your business. You should consult a qualified legal professional for formal compliance advice specific to your situation.

Purchase of ComplianceDocs templates or the Pro subscription does not create a lawyer-client relationship.

3. Use of the free scanner

• The free scanner may be used to scan any publicly accessible website URL
• You may not use the scanner to probe, attack, or gather intelligence on websites without authorisation
• Rate limits apply (20 requests per 10 minutes per IP)
• We reserve the right to block IPs that exceed reasonable usage limits
• The scanner checks public HTML and headers only — it does not authenticate, crawl private content, or perform any invasive action

4. Paid products

• ComplianceDocs ($29-$149): Digital template downloads. Instant delivery via Gumroad. Non-refundable after download.
• Pro subscription ($79/year): Annual subscription. Includes PDF reports, document generators, and priority support. Renews annually. Cancel anytime.

All payments are processed through Gumroad (Stripe/PayPal). Refund requests for Pro subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The scanning service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The scanner will detect all compliance gaps
• Results are 100% accurate (automated checks have limitations)
• The service will be uninterrupted or error-free

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EUComply and Mahope shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on scan results, missed compliance gaps, or service interruptions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
• Submit URLs that require authentication to access
• Redistribute scan results as a competing service

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
