EUComply is a free online compliance scanning service provided by Mahope, Denmark. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our website and scanning service.

2. What we collect

When you scan a URL:

• The URL you submit (stored temporarily for the scan, then discarded)
• The public HTML content of the scanned URL (fetched and processed once, not stored)
• Scan results are sent to your browser only — we do not store them

When you visit the website:

• Standard web server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, page requested, timestamp) are retained by Cloudflare Pages for up to 30 days
• We set no cookies ourselves. Cloudflare may set strictly functional cookies for CDN operation

When you subscribe to a waitlist or purchase a product:

• Email address (only if you voluntarily provide it via a waitlist form)
• Purchase data is handled entirely by our payment processor (Gumroad) — we receive only your email and purchase confirmation

3. How we use your data

• To provide the compliance scanning service
• To send waitlist updates (only if you opted in)
• To improve the service (aggregated, anonymised data only)
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties

4. Data retention

• Scan URLs: Not stored beyond the HTTP request-response cycle
• Email addresses: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Server logs: 30 days (Cloudflare standard)

5. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority

6. Third-party services

We use:

• Cloudflare — CDN and hosting (privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy)

No other third-party scripts, analytics, or tracking services are loaded on this website.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for all connections. The scanning service fetches only public HTML content and does not authenticate or access private data on scanned sites.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date.
